Spherically symmetric similarity solutions for equations describing radiative relativistic fluids were examined for a perfect fluid field source in the presence of a radiation field. The existence and uniqueness of the similarity solutions are demonstrated in the neighborhood of hypersurfaces which are moving sonic wavefronts. The results are significant for spacecraft reentry through planetary radiation fields experiencing thermal effects.
