Detailed spectroscopy is a key component in the experimental quest to understand np correlations in nuclei. Odd-odd nuclei on the N=Z line are particularly important, but detailed spectroscopy for both low- and high-spin states has been limited. Using GAMMASPHERE + FMA, an experiment was performed to study the A=46 system. From these data, a greatly expanded level scheme for ^46V has been determined, where the T=1 band is now know up to (tentatively) 14^+ and at least 6 other T=0 bands are observed. The results of the spectroscopy of ^46V, which is now one of the best-known N=Z odd-odd nuclei, will be presented.
