A list of approximately 55 emission lines identified in the supernova remnants N 63 A (LMC), RCW 86, and RCW 103 are presented with rough estimates of the relative strengths. The presence and strengths of these lines are in qualitative agreement with expectations of the theory of isothermal shock-heating and cooling of the interstellar medium. The presence of forbidden lines of Ca II is of particular interest. A discussion of spectra of N 120, the northern extension of N 49, RCW 89, Kesteven 45 and N 57, reveals that the first four are supernova remnants, and the last more probably a photoionized H II region.-
