Redshifts (z = 0.2-3) have been measured for 14 radio source identifications from the Parkes Selected Regions sample and from other complete radio samples defined at 2.7 GHz. One further identification has been found to be a featureless BL Lac object for which no redshift can be determined. These data are used to discuss the relationship between the strength of forbidden O II 3727-A emission and radio luminosity for narrow-line radio galaxies.
