HETE J1900-2455 is an accretion-powered millisecond pulsar in a low mass X-ray binary system. Studying these objects provides detailed information about the component neutron star, its companion and the accretion disk - in particular, HETE J1900-2455 appears to contain a warped accretion disk. Spectroscopic data taken of HETE J1900-2455 using the Blanco Telescope at CTIO June 22- June 27 2008 and the preliminary results from the reduced data are presented. A background of accretion-powered millisecond pulsars and low mass X-ray binaries will also be presented, as well as an overview of what the study of these objects provides for the scientific community.
