Stars: Distances, Stars: Fundamental Parameters
Scientific paper
Spectral types, distances, and tangential velocities are given for stars
in the list by Ruiz et al. [AJ, 106, 2575 (1993)], having proper motions
≥O.25" yr-1. The spectroscopic follow-up revealed the
existence of large numbers of intrinsically faint stars, such as late M
dwarfs and cool degenerates.
