Radial velocities for 26 probable members of the open cluster Trumpler 16 have been measured. A minimum of 50 percent of variables were found as in the considered sample. Six preliminary orbits for binaries among the probable main-sequence members were derived, and an average heliocentric radial velocity for the cluster of -26 km/s was found. All the binaries discovered are worth detailed studies because of their potential astrophysical interest.
