Spectrophotometric scans of twenty Seyfert 2 galaxies, three intermediate Seyfert galaxies, and five narrow-line radio galaxies are presented. The emission-line spectra are similar in all the galaxies. The strengths of lines of neutral atoms and singly-ionized ions are correlated with each other, while the strengths of lines of ions of higher ionization are separately correlated with each other. This suggest two distinct emitting regions: low ionization and high ionization. Two galaxies were observed to have different redshifts between lines from the low and high ionization regions. The velocity differences are less than the average emission-line full width at half maximum of 500-600 km/s in Seyfert 2 galaxies and narrow-line radio galaxies. The broad components of the intermediate Seyfert galaxies have velocity widths comparable with those of broad-line radio galaxies.
