New spectrophotometric observations of the low excitation Herbig-Haro objects H-H 7, H-H 11, and H-H 43 have been obtained with the Palomar 5.08 m telescope and the multichannel spectrometer. The results confirm that these objects show an unusually low degree of ionization (compared to "normal" H-H objects), indicating shock velocities of ≡40 km s-1 or less. In spite of considerable differences between the line spectra of these low excitation and normal "high excitation" H-H objects the low excitation objects show about the same continuum energy distribution as high excitation objects. The rapid rise of Fλ towards shorter wavelengths can be attributed only to either a very hot black body or, more probably, to a two-photon continuum. For both assumptions the agreement between predicted and observed energy distribution in the range 3600 Å ⪉ λ ⪉ 8000 Å is good.
