A relationship has been found between the orbital period of U Gem binary systems and the spectral class of their cold components. The existence of this relation may make it possible to determine the spectral class of the cold components of such stars that are difficult to observe. In addition, it follows from the orbital-period-mass and orbital-period-spectral-class relations of the cold components that they are on the main sequence. This makes it possible to estimate the luminosities of the cold components from the revolution period.
