The authors performed a low dispersion spectral observation of a sample of 73 very luminous galaxies, using 2.16 m telescope at XingLong Station of Beijing Astronomical Observatory from Apr 15, 1994 to Feb 15, 1996. They give the results of spectral and interaction classifications of the sample. The statistic results provide strong evidences for the idea that interaction triggers nuclear activity and enhances the infrared luminosity. Analysis of correlation between both line and continuum emission reddenings in AGNs suggest that these two kinds of reddening could come from the different regions in the nuclei of galaxies.
