We present results from on-the-fly maps of HCN J=3-2 and CO J=2-1 emission in comet Hale-Bopp, which were obtained at millimeter-wavelengths during 13 Mar to 8 Apr 1997 using the NRAO 12m telescope. Spatial distributions of line flux area, lineshape, and spectral position provide information about the temperature, velocity distribution and physical conditions for these molecules in the coma. Empirical distributions extracted from the data will be presented and discussed for HCN and CO. The figure below shows a typical spectral extraction from an on-the-fly ``data cube." \plottwo{672a.eps}{672b.eps}
