The discovery of a pair of Herbig-Haro (HH) objects, designated HH 135 and 136, in the eastern Carina region from Schmidt plates with an objective prism is reported. Narrow-band CCD imaging of the whole region was also obtained in the red S II forbidden lines as well as in the adjacent continuum. Many Fe forbidden and a few Fe II permitted lines were detected. HH 135, whose morphology is similar to that of HH 1, is excited by a very luminous IRAS point source, one of the most luminous among known exciting sources of HH objects. HH 136 is elongated, with a structure composed of 10 knots, and is probably powered by another source. HH 136 and 136 appear to be the result of star formation due to radiative impulsion in a bright-rimmed cloud.
