Speckle-interferometric observations of dwarf stars with variable or suspected variable radial velocities were carried out with the 6-m telescope with the aim of resolving them directly. Of the 21 stars observed, only Gliese 600 = BD + 11 deg 2874 was resolved for the first time. The observations led to the discovery of a new interferometric binary, Gl 600, and showed the lack of resolvable components for a number of nearby dwarfs with variable velocities, which imposes restrictions on the luminosity difference of their satellites.
