Perspectives of the magnetosphere studies aboard the Regatta E spacecraft are discussed, including the scientific objectives and payload proposals. This new Soviet near equatorial spacecraft is to be launched at the end of 1994 for a five year period overlapping with operation of Regatta Astro, Regatta A and ISTP, providing coordinated measurements of fields and particles.
