Color excesses are derived for six galactic Cepheids from reddenings found for neighboring stars which seem likely to be physically associated with each variable. The Cepheids studied are: SU Cas, which is associated with a dust complex and R association; Zeta Gem and Alpha UMi, which have F dwarfs as close companions; BB Sgr and SZ Tau, which lie in the coronal regions of the clusters Collinder 394 and NGC 1647, respectively; and SV Vul, which is involved in an older region of the association Vul OB1. The derived reddenings are in good agreement with other, independent, estimates from the literature.
