The z coordinates of 317 open star clusters and the coefficients, beta, measuring their concentration toward the galactic plane are compared with the ages of the clusters. For this purpose the clusters are divided into five age groups with limits (logarithmic ages in years) of no more than 7.0, 7.5, 8.0 and 8.5, and greater than 8.5. The space distribution of the clusters is found to exhibit peculiarities with respect to cluster age, and the dependence of linear diameter on galactocentric distance is examined. It is concluded that absolute-visual-magnitude corrections of approximately 1 mag should be applied to the zero-age main sequence for clusters of early spectral type.
