The shower activity along the solar longitude is derived from data of 2100 Aquarid meteors observed visually in Australia and from 87,000 radar echo records obtained in Czechoslovakia during the shower periods in years 1969-1978. A double peak in the shower activity was confirmed, from both sets of data, with a central dip at solar-lambda of 45.5. The width of the central zone, corresponding to the core of the stream is proportional to the size distribution of the observed particles.
