Stellar Diameters: Interferometry

Scientific paper

In optical interferometry, the measured fringe visibility is less than
the true value due to errors, which results in systematic errors in the
measurement of stellar angular breadth. Some main sources of error
affecting the measurement of fringe visibility, hence stellar angular
breadth are analysed and a way to solve the problems is shown.
