Accretion Disks: Stability

The stability of a sonic point in an isothermal accretion disc is
examined for the case in which the causally limited viscosity and
magnetic fields coexist. The results show that the sonic point is a
saddle and stable against small amplitude perturbations. Finally, the
authors discuss these results.
