Steady circulation-preserving magnetogeostrophic flows whose magnetic field magnitudes are constant on each magnetic field line are considered. In the present analysis, an intrinsic representation based on unit vectors pointing along the tangent, the principal normal, and the binormal is analyzed using the technique of Marris and Passman (1969). The results demonstrate that this class of motions corresponds to the circular helical motion whose Lorentz surfaces (the surfaces containing magnetic field lines and current lines) are concentric circular cylinders.
