It is shown that the correlation of cometary events with solar activity is weak, but that geomagnetic indexes (H component and K index) and the energy of solar wind correlate to cometary disturbance events, and to the cometary kinked events as well. The correlation means that the comets and the geomagnetic field are influenced by the same source, i.e., the space plasma environment of heliosphere has taken a considerable turbulence. An encounter between the plasma tail of comet and the Earth's magnetosphere was analyzed, and shows that the plasma tail can directly cause the geomagnetic storm observed.
