Recent studies have revealed the important role played by solar polar coronal holes in the modulation of cosmic ray intensity. Our earlier study, using neutron monitor monitor data from two stations,Thule and McMurdo has demonstrated a N-S asymmetry in cosmic ray intenity associated with differences in the areas of polar coronal holes, with the larger(smaller)coronal hole associated with a smaller(larger) cosmic ray flux. Our present investigation extends that study to moderately higher energigies,by the use of the GG component from the Nagoya directional telescope. The presently obtained results confirms our earlier findings.
