Recent results of solar gamma-ray astronomy are reviewed with attention given to the generation dynamics of heavy particles and electrons, two groups of solar gamma-ray flares, the particle energy spectrum, and the relationship of accelerated protons and electrons. Data on gamma rays and high-energy neutrons acquired during the flares of June 21, 1980 and June 3, 1982 are also examined.
