The first results in automated recognition of 4 different solar features (sunspots, active regions, filaments, magnetic field neutral lines) are presented. The problems associated with a digital image cleaning, pattern recognition techniques applicable to different types of features and their implementation in the Solar Feature Catalogues (SFCs) are discussed. The preliminary results of a systematic investigation of the selected features chosen from the SFCs and their correlations with magnetic structures are presented. The research is done for the European Grid of Solar Observations funded by the European Commission.
