The variability of the Sun as a star is traced in its integrated solar-wind mass and energy fluxes. Direct plasma measurements in the heliosphere over more than the last thirty years indicate that these quantities have experienced relative variations by factors of 1.5-2, approximately in antiphase with the last three eleven- year solar cycles. A rising trend is noted over this time, with a similar relative-variation scale. This trend may be a manifestation of a "secular" cycle with a duration of 60-70 years or longer.
