A study was made of the propagation of solar cosmic rays (SCR) in the high velocity solar wind. This involved a comparison of SCR propagating in the event of 17 Dec. 1976, when corotating high velocity streams were observed, and the event of 3 Jun. 1967, when this phenomenon was not observed. The particle transfer equation was solved numerically for describing SCR propagation in these events. The equation for anisotropic diffusion of SCR, with allowance for convection and change in particle energy in interplanetary space, as well as the pertinent kinetic propagation equation, were solved numerically. These solutions and an analysis of experimental data were used in studying the influence of long lived solar wind streams on the propagation of fast protons generated in solar flares. The analysis suggests that in the solar wind structure there are well defined channels for the propagation of fast charged particles.
