OTA/FGS CHARACTERIZATION Servicing Mission activities may expose the HST to stresses that could change the OTA/FGS optical alignments and FGS performance characteristics. The current proposal attempts to characterize such effects by measuring the FGS transfer function at various positions within the three FGSs, both before and after the Servicing Mission. This test includes the transfer scans at 5 positions within each FGS along the arc through the center of the FOV that are to be run after the servicing mission.
