Measurements of the Doppler-velocity fluctuations indicated by the radio
signals from the Vega balloons testify to strong turbulence in the
nightside as well as the dayside Venus cloud layer. Wind speeds vary by
up to 2 m/sec on time scales of 30-100 sec.
