We observed the PSN J12304185+4137498 now identified as an LBV (CBET #2789) within host galaxy, NGC 4490 (d~8 Mpc), with the Submillimeter Array beginning on August 18.0 UT. Observations were conducted with 2 x 4 GHz bandwidth centered at a frequency of 230 GHz. We do not detect a mm-band counterpart at the optical transient position and place an upper limit of 1.2 mJy (2-sigma). We thank the SMA director for making these rapid response observations possible.
