A spatial association between flare occurrence from an active region and quiescent filament observed in a preceding solar rotation is pointed out. A sample of high latitude events where the differential rotation is large was selected. The perfect association between flare and the tip of the filament being undeniable, it may be concluded that the solar differential rotation is disturbed in these singular points of the solar atmosphere: the differential rotation of the sun did not displace the filament with regard to the flare.
