The peculiar object BL Lac (VRO 42.22.01) and the Seyfert galaxy 3C 120 are known as rapid variables in optical, infrared and radio regions. In order to study the correlation between the optical and the radio variations of these objects, we have made simultaneous observations in the photographic B and V colors and of the flux density at 7.2 cm. The observations were made from November 30 to December 10, 1972, which covered the period of the international coordinated observations of BL Lac and 3C 120.
