Ionospheric electric field values are presented, obtained simultaneously
by the double probe technique on board a rocket and by two incoherent
backscatter radar installations. The measurements were performed during
auroral activity over northern Scandinavia. The spatial distribution of
the field reveals pronounced local variations.
