We observed the bright Galactic microquasar H1743-322 with Chandra and RXTE on four separate occasions (50 ksec each) during its 2003 outburst. The grating X-ray spectra obtained show very strong, narrow absorption lines due to Fe XXV and Fe XXVI. These lines are qualitatively similar to Fe XXV and Fe XXVI absorption lines previously detected in the microquasars GRO J1655-40 and GRS 1915+105 with ASCA. The lines in H1743-322, however, are fully resolved and permit more sensitive diagnostics. Interestingly, there is no evidence for Fe K-alpha emission lines (narrow or broad) in the spectra, nor any evidence of X-ray reflection in the broad-band RXTE spectra. We will discuss these results within the context of ionized accretion disk atmospheres, and the overall accretion inflow/outflow geometry in Galactic black hole systems.
