The photographic all-sky patrol network operated by the Ondrejov Observatory and based on 11 stations in the Czech Republic still represents one of very few possibilities to get real-time simultaneous optical data (no delay with respect to the GRB emission) and even pre-burst data for GRBs. The system can reach the limiting magnitude for real time optical data down to mag 12. Capabilities of the system as well as selected scientific results of related GRB analyses (including real time optical data) are presented and discussed. Analogous optical system but based on 4K × 7K CCD camera has been developed at the Sonneberg Observatory - the details are also presented and discussed.
