Simulators of aspherical surfaces, used in the building of compensation testing schemes and making it possible to calculate a compensator in the ray paths from the side of the surface being tested are examined; this reduces significantly the laboriousness of the computations when using standard programs for calculating ray paths on a computer. Methods are proposed for calculating simulators in the form of one refracting or reflecting aspherical surface and a system of flat refracting surfaces.
