An iron meteorite that fell in the Sikhote Alin mountain range in southeast Siberia on 12 February 1947. It was preceded by a brilliant fireball. The incoming body fragmented at a height estimated at about 5 km, and the fragments produced nearly 400 small impact craters, the largest 27 m across.
