The type I X-ray burster KS1731-260 and the Ultra Soft X-ray Transient
TrA X-1 have been detected for the first time at hard X-ray energies by
the coded-mask imaging telescope SIGMA. This paper reports on the SIGMA
results discussed in the light of previous observations.
