The interaction of two spherical shocks (from the explosions of adjacent supermassive systems) in the early intergalactic medium is investigated analytically in the framework of the cosmological model of Doroskhevich et al. (1967). The release of about 10 to the 61st ergs by the explosion of a system of 10 to the 11th solar mass is considered. A tangential discontinuity is found to arise in collisions of shocks of both identical and nonidentical intensity, leading to the production of groups of spiral galaxies with significant rotation. Possible observational constraints on the explosive cosmological model are briefly considered.
