Light Scattering And Absorption, Nonspherical Particles
Scientific paper
We conduct a systematic theoretical study on the effects of
non-sphericity of randomly oriented particles on the shape averaged
scattering and absorption cross sections as functions of the refractive
index. The Rayleigh or electrostatic approximation is used.
