This article introduces 5D general relativity and the exterior Schwarzschild solution. Then the authors derive the interior Schwarzschild solution. Special emphasis is given to the calculation of three problems, i.e. Mercury perihelion precession, the deflection of light by the sun and the retardation travel time by radar signals, using the 5D gravitational theory. The result shows that in the present test condition the revision of the 5D theory to the 4D theory is negligible and in comparison with the age of the universe the difference of the two theories will be displayed.
