Current SETI programs are reviewed and the creation of a global SETI network is proposed. The NASA SETI program is discussed, including the Arecibo receiver and the Multichannel Spectrum Analyzer. The MegaSETI collaborative program between the NASA SETI program and the Paris Observatory is described, including studies with the SETI telescope at Nancay and an outline of plans for further development of the program. A program using pulsar rotation frequencies as a reference for choosing SETI frequencies is examined. Also, consideration is given to international regulation of SETI research and the possibility of coordinating various SETI program into an international network.
