Bioastronomy: Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence

SETI-Italia is one of the main activities of the Italian Bioastronomy Project, started in 1993. Italy is the only European country joining this venture which involves the USA, Australia and Argentina. In this paper we will present the experimental set-up and the recent improvements in the data processing achieved using the KLT transform in order to search for the presence of ETI signals even over finite bandwidths.
