We show new kinds of spatiotemporal evolution of pulses by computer simulations of an excitable reaction diffusion system. In one dimensional simulations, we observe self-replication of a traveling pulse and a breathing pulse. For suitably chosen parameters, the spatiotemporal pattern exhibits a self-similar regular pattern like a Sierpinsky gasket. .
