The results obtained from the analyses of selection effects in the identification of emission lines of quasars presented in previous papers are used to determine the evolutionary property of quasars. The samples consist of the quasars with an absolute magnitude less than certain values selected from surveys with the similar limiting apparent magnitude. It is found that the density of quasars evolves according to the power law rho = rho(0)(1 + z) exp 6.5 + or - 1.
