Photomultiplier Tube (PMT) is an extremely high sensitive light detector providing a current output proportional to the light intensity. This paper is intended to provide an understanding of performance and guide designer to the correct selection for their polarization-elements measurement. In final, we recommended how it should be operated to obtain the best results.
