Helioseismologists have been highly successful in revealing how the solar interior differentially rotates through observations of rotationally split eigen p modes of the sun. What we currently know about the internal rotation of the sun including how it varies over the solar cycle is reviewed. Seismic inference of internal rotation based on low-degree modes is also discussed.
