The radio astronomy data and the spacecraft measurements of the
properties of the Venusian and Jovian atmospheres have been used to
obtain the coupling coefficients of the muon component on the planetary
surfaces using the empirical methods. The magnetic cutoff rigidity has
also been estimated.
