A circular, planar, restricted three-body problem with small mass ratio (mu greater than 0) is analyzed asymptotically using Guillaume's extension of the Breakwell-Perko matching theory. Attention is given to periodic solutions with one near-moon passage during half period. The deflection angle approaches zero as the mass approaches zero. Applications of the method described include the study of bifurcation phenomena and restricted stable periodic orbits in the planar restricted three-body problem.
