Height, time, and space related factors of nocturnal seasonal anomalies
were studied using data on the height profile of electron density
obtained from earth-based observatories, the Alouette-1 satellite, and
model profiles. Possible causes for the occurrence of a nocturnal
seasonal anomaly at a height between 400 and 500 km are discussed.
